Year 7 / 8: In recent years, the offerings in the Arts/Technology and Performing Arts space have varied between Year 7 and 8. This has been necessitated by:

● Staffing shortages and methods of teachers.
● Timetable and rooming constraints

A balanced program is offered across the two years by considering the subjects offered in the previous year-level.
Year 9 / 10: A vertical elective structure is offered to maximise student choice across the two years. Including HPE within the elective blocking creates greater timetable flexibility to accommodate student choice. Students may not repeat the same subjects across the two years. A typical student will complete 12 electives across the two years. This varies if a student elects the following subjects that do not have a standard 3 period per week allocation:

● Agribusiness - 6 periods per week for the year
● VCE Subjects – 4 periods per week for the year. Students undertaking a VCE subject in Year 10 will miss one period of a core subject.
